That’s something else to remember…most scopes have WiFi and unless you have your WiFi off on your phone, your phone will connect and all other features are useless. May not matter to most but when your stalking in on pigs being monitored by a cell cam it matters, lol. Turn one or the other off to be able to use your phone. Or wait until you get to where you’re going to turn your scope on.

That brought up something else and all I can tell you about are iRay and AGM. The iRay takes about a good 30 seconds to a minute to get a shooting screen. The AGM is only a few seconds. My AGM takes the 2 132A batteries I think and the iRay takes 2 18650’s. The iRay has the advantage with an internal battery as well. I can buy 8 18650 batteries for about $25 and they’ll last an entire year before you start noticing they don’t last long any longer. It’s about the same with the others. I keep and 6 smaller batteries in my pocket when using the AGM and 4 when using the iRay. I still have batteries I’ve yet to even use for both thermals.

These thermals are quite an investment, no way Id spend that kind of money on a product from a company thats only been in the business for two years....oh, make that three now that we are in 2026. No track record at all...not in quality control and not in customer service. Maybe thats just me....

My AGM Rattler is the V2 and it uses a rechargable battery pack that last about 9 hours. It came with two batteries

I’m sitting here with a WiFi capable thermal on a custom made rifle ar platform, Wi-Fi monocular, tripod, suppressor and a few other accessories and I believe the total is in the 12k range.
Point is it gets crazy in a hurry.
The scope and monocular are actually computers, I’ll never learn all they can do.

I’ve wondered about these as I have some really good scopes, my thoughts are it would free up more money for the monocular/binoculars.

Donnersurvior, its just like buying anything you want to answer better. One time buy get top end and then not needing to up grade, when some of the cheaper don't meet the demand. Don't worry about If I'm sure, If It fills my want. My thoughts you get what you buy. as Osky staded, gets expensive quick I also have PulsarThermion hand held

Stay far away from ATN.

Got a friend who does a lot of night coyote hunting and this is exactly what he says. Looking to spend $1800-$2500
