It’s the most under served health issues out there in my opinion more bad info than good they make everything more complex. Heck even a realistic food chart or meal schedule is impossible to find, often foods are recommended that you never heard of. Theres more money to be made with gimmicks than things that really help a person. If you listen to others you can eat this but not that then the next person is no that’s ok but you can’t eat that other stuff you were told was no problem it’s never ending.
Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

Eat smart, exercise and if Dr. prescribes meds take 'em.

Why would you want the government to ban private corporations from airing advertisements?

Why would you want the government to ban private corporations from airing advertisements? We're talking about controlled substances that require a prescription. If somebody takes one of these medications, shouldn't it be because their doctor prescribed it? Who exactly are these ads targeting? I'm not entirely comfortable with calling on the government to ban these corporate ads, but I would also like to know what the case is that advertising these controlled substances to the general public is a good thing. Shouldn't they be targeting these ads to doctors through trade publications and the like?

We need to start repealing laws. Got way to many. Not create more.

As you said, they are prescription drugs so it's not like they can go into Walgreens and buy it off the shelf... their doctor would need to sign off on it. What harm is there in people being aware of the newest pharmaceuticals that are available, so that they can discuss with their doctor whether or not they may be a viable treatment option for them?

Can this lead to people shopping around for doctors who will write them the prescriptions they want? I'm just thinking about how so many people get hooked on opioids.

Do you often see commercials for opiods? Certainly not in the last 15 years. Should they be allowed to?
