This has probably been discussed before but if so, I can’t remember.
Does the full moon seem to have a negative impact on your trapline?

Coon run less on full moon and no clouds. If its cloudy and dark it doesn't seem to matter so you can't just go by the moon cycle on the calendar. I figure its b/c they are nocturnal and don't feel as safe as bright as it is while they are out running around. I don't know if that plays over into other nocturnal creatures or not but it would make sense.

Going by the amount of tracks in the snow I see, a full moon before Christmas seems to keep most k-9s near the thick brush and woods.
Now with Love in the air there are tracks all over the fields and they are reacting well to gland lure
If you don't trap during the full moon you will miss half of the season
This subject is just one of the reasons for keeping good notes on the seasons and things you noticed during it
Just my thoughts

Here's a podcast from Trapping Radio recently where they discuss moon phase. They agree with wetdog, animals stick to heavier cover when the moon is bright.

Brown trout don't like it either when nite fishing. You have to fish under a bridge or under a shade tree to get results and surface lures work less too then......jk

Bow hunting the evening of a full moon is a waste of time. They know by the pressure of the atmosphere.

Most definitely.

And it’s conditional dependent.

A clear, full moon night on good snow cover may as well be daylight!
