does anyone have advice on how to buy a dozen or so traps without paying an arm and a leg. If any of y'all have traps you want to get rid of I might buy them from you. thanks in advance -Caleb

Hey young trapper, how young are ya? What is it you are interested in trapping...i.e. what kind of traps are you looking for?

To find cheap traps.... keep your eye on facebook marketplace and craigslist for your area. Also any yard sales or farm auctions. Conventions are good places to buy cheap used traps. Seems to me I remember your state has a spring one... I don't know where or when, but here is their facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/groups/168658109859960/ I would definitely join that site.... there may be a local trapper in your area who could help teach ya.... give/sell ya some traps.

Also, keep an eye on the trapshed here. Some prices on there are ridiculous, but sometimes you can find really good deals.

Also... consider trading. Do you have thing you own or can make that you could trade for traps?

Hmmm, the poster doesn’t respond to how old he is. Newsflash: “young” does not always relate strictly to age. As an adjective, it can also mean new, inexperienced, or early in development, regardless of how old someone actually is.

Get your parents or guardian to take you to a Louisiana trappers get together. Usually traps for sale there.

How did you get your username changed?

You can't change your user name, only your display name. Click on your display name, (top right of the screen), its under edit profile.

yeah it just takes a few days for it to be approved.
