Black and white possum today a different color combo than usual here.

Darker oppies are not that unusual here. Don't take many pictures of them but have a couple. The 2nd one is really dark.

The backs black the upper sides more white then black underneath never seen one with that color combo. See the black legs a lot but most are whiter than this one. I’m thinking $50 easy! LOL

Strong-jawed rugged good looks kind of handsome I'd say. The kind of badboy type fella that so many gals seem to be drawn to.
I can relate to being cursed in that way. I always thought that turning gray then turning bald would have slowed them down, but that didn't happen.
Now I have to wonder what the gals are saying behind my back. Maybe something that starts like, "Yes, he may look like a possum..."

They ain’t pretty but they have nice personalities they smile at you.

Same colored dark possum living under my shed, Miss Daisy calls him Percy.... comes out at dark to eat scraps thrown out for the birds and other members of the menagerie here...

First time I saw it I thought it was all black, but it looks just like yours, darker than any I've seen before...just the head is white....

To this day, the only grinner I regret not tanning…. Monster sized, on the tailgate I of a full sized truck. I would say the black ones are few and far between, but love to ruin a good coyote set same as their white cousins..
