Local thing or is everyone everywhere lovin' it?

Not local. Big down here in the south, and I also grew up eating it in western NY.

Eat it here on the Eastern Shore.

Mom used to fix if for breakfast. Eggs and potato's. She made four slices in it. Let it lay flat rather than curling up.

Fried up withe a couple of eggs and some fried taters and almost burnt toast with lots of butter. Delicious.

I like it, every now and again. I like it better with deli sliced bologna, rather than say Oscar Meyer.

Mustard and fried onions.

Fried venison bologna with scrambled eggs and toast is hard to beat.

Yes ! My pap used to dice it up with onions

Fry it and put a slice in a grilled cheese sandwich one of my favorite things to eat

Friend put a restaurant in a small town and opened early each day. Served breakfast and lunch. I asked him what his most ordered mail was and he said “fried halogenated sandwich”. Log trucks would arrive before daylight and the workers ordered two bologna sandwiches each to eat inside and two to go. Once the men got into their trucks, they often ate the other two sandwiches and then ordered two more to go.

We have it for breakfast a lot in Newfoundland.

Had it fried as a kid, long ago. I've seen people cook it in a smoker too, a big chunk of it at a time...

Not baloney, other than cold in a sammich, but did have fried Spam a lot .....

Mom and Grandma always bought wunderbar or Boars head bologna

I like to fry up summer sausage with eggs
