Comed announced margin increases again

This is the third time.

Yesterday's closing on the Shanghai was over $80

Third margin increase and don’t forget about the emergency “cooling issue” shutdown.

I don’t know how comex works, but this is why I like the CME/CBOT hit the limit three days in a row then the limits are off and let it ride.

IMO, you buy silver as a gamble, but you better have a plan for when to sell.
Gold you buy as a long term hedge.
Follow the smart money. All the central banks are buy tons of gold, only one central bank (Russia) is buying silver.
You and I only have hunches.

I’ve never ever sold. What’s the going discount below SPOT?? Just talked to a buyer; they were offering $3.00 below spot on silver. Talked to another buyer, they’re paying $5 below spot, again on silver bullion.
TY, this is kinda cool to watch.

How's it going BB?

Discount? Depends on what someone is selling and what day. Around here eagles were selling for spot, anything else 2.to 5.back depending on condition. 90 percent was at 7 back but is coming up kow.

It seems FOMO is kicking in and many dealers are reporting low inventory.

They say in 1964 a silver quarter would buy a gallon of gas.

That same quarter is now worth almost 15 dollars. Gas is cheap

Copper is Rising!!!!! IMO. Silver will lose its value in the AI sector due to cost. Copper will continue to rise.
Aluminum is next!!!

I sort of wish we would of stayed on the gold and silver standard, instead of just creating money. I'm sure there were benefits of going off it though. It let our economy overtake all the others more easily.

I have many pounds of heavy, uncoated copper ground wire, on a huge pile of telephone poles I have stacked up, that I got when they replaced the local ones. If it gets really expensive I'll move them all and strip it off. I have one tool box with 32 pounds of copper pennies and one with 46 pounds. At only $5.73 a pound, It's likely going to be a while.

A currency backed by debt is insidious and up until the USD became the reserve everyone has failed. Maybe this time will be different

$82.51. We may see the high retested by morning

AI is transitioning away from copper to light (fiber optics and silicon photonics) I wouldn't bet on copper for my retirement plan.
