Went out and made a few sets this afternoon. My trapline had an interruption over the weekend.

My sister sent three large boxes from Sam’s Club. Dry and canned goods to be sorted out to divide amongst our immediate family. I’m all out of ziploc and vacuum bags now.

Chuckie is making chicken wings and they’re almost done. I’m ready to tear up some food!!!

I need a full belly and a warm bed.

I bet those are cool! I used to have a grey furry pair but I actually wore holes in them.

Nothing in the traps today but man what a beautiful early morning quad ride. There was misty patchy areas and it was chilly but fun.

Raining here now, snow maybe later, so that’s coming, hopefully you get something tomorrow.

I’m tired, hungry and a bit cold too. It’s about 15 degrees in the shack right now but I got my beaver slippers on watching the hockey game. All by myself this time around.

Many times I would rather be wet and cold out on the trapline than safe and dry in my home.

Maybe you’re like one of our clerks. I’m taking off the climbing spurs and moving to the forestry side of things at the utility next week. I told one of our girls at the office today that she’s the only reason I even came up into the office….. lol
