We've got a female problem in this country. This is why that up until a minute ago women were the property and responsibility of a father or husband for almost all of our history.
Bold assessment. Would you be willing to place a wager of sorts? I know you are not dumb! What's your wager?

Looked to me like a shooting in anger rather than self defense. But that said, if you try to drive away from the police you risk getting shot. Everybody that I ever teach to drive I emphasize that fact. She ran over the Federal ICE officer who shot her. He's in the hospital. I guess having someone try to kill you and run you over would make you understandably angry, so you're sort of right. Keith From what I read he went to the hospital was looked at and checked out. The cynic in me wonders if he was sent to the hospital by his superiors to make the shooting appear more justified than it might have really been.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

You can't possibly think it was okay for the woman to hit a Federal officer with her car, can you? Even if her intention wasn't to kill him and the other nearby officers, or do them serious bodily harm, how was he supposed to know? She undeniably hit him with a deadly weapon, that is frequently used to kill and cause severe bodily harm. Her action is not legally significantly different than threatening a Federal Agent with a gun and then shooting them. Her shooting was legally justified. Keith

Well white liberal women need to learn that usually bad outcomes happen when you ignore Law enforcement orders and or try and bum rush them with a car. I mean usually when there is a bullet hole in the windshield that usually means the officer was in front of the car. Minnesota has agreed it’s good to go to war with America good luck….I am from there and glad to say from there now days… We've got a female problem in this country. This is why that up until a minute ago women were the property and responsibility of a father or husband for almost all of our history. Good Lord.

I think we actually have a male problem, too many males acting like females. I’m not talking about the whole gay thing. Just how masculinity has been demonized. A lot of men are afraid of what it might look like if they behave masculine.

Keith The armchair experts, in hindsight, expect that the officer just a few feet in front of the car lurching forward should have focused his line of sight on the direction the front wheels may have been turning and calculated that he would only be grazed by the front fender rather than run over by the vehicle. Perhaps they should all be police officers.

The cynic in me wonders if he was sent to the hospital by his superiors to make the shooting appear more justified than it might have really been. did the cynic in you question whether the cop who shot Ashli Babbitt was justified in doing so? By the standards in this whole post. Ashli Babbitt was just a domestic terrorist playing stupid games. Won stupid prize. More apples and oranges depending on which team you cheer for. Mac

it's a tactic LEO uses , surround the car so that if they make a move and fail to comply to stop and get out of the vehicle and make a move to evade you endanger the officer thus the threshold of deadly force gets reached.
they do this because they need to be in danger of bodily harm to use deadly force as decided by courts
once LE have told you to stop and get out of the car you are being detained and a detainee using a 2-3 ton weapon to resist and evade arrest is it's own level of force.
it's a difficult situation all around. if everyone is free to flee when being detained , the LE could never get an arrest made. the woman likely didn't understand the rules of being detained , which is unfortunate that they were not taught.
it is better to be proven innocent in court and be alive than to try and prove your point with LE and be dead , if you are not ready to die , surrender and live to another day , doesn't matter if you are innocent if you are dead.
that should be the lesson taught to people , when you cross a threshold from protest to resisting arrest with force and a deadly weapon , you cross a line even if you don't think you crossed the line , you leave that to a court to decide.
teach your kids that when the LE guns come out , you can fight likely resulting in your death or surrender and face trial , so if you are not ready to die , take the trial.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

IF she was a paid protestor, as some reports indicate, is this a workplace fatality? What kind of training are they provided?
