I watched it. I do agree that by the time he pulled the trigger, she had cleared him, but only after having first hit him. In the split second between getting hit by the car and pulling the trigger... I believe it's what any reasonable person would have done.

Those officers are getting heckled, yelled at, swore at, spit on, etc etc all day long by a whole bunch of people who don't appreciate what they're tasked with doing. I can imagine that it wouldn't take much to get them to react lethally in certain situations. One can imagine that adrenaline is running pretty high.

I kind of feel that has a lot to do with the shootings taking place in the last couple of days.

In Oregon the majority of people don't appreciate or want ICE here. I suspect the same is true in many other states as well. Expect push back.

I'm not even convinced of that, although it would certainly vary by state. It would probably be true in YOUR state but probably not in mine. Here, we are allowed to shoot someone legally if they are in the process of committing a felony. I would say attempted vehicular manslaughter would be considered a felony.

I think I can speak for most conservatives when I say we greatly appreciate the work of President Trump and ICE and their ongoing efforts to undo the huge amount of damage the previous administration did to this Country with their "open borders" policy.

It is really hard for me to understand why citizens would actively train and participate in actions designed to thwart the efforts of LEO trying to do a job that really needs to be done. These people are protecting criminals.

It's even harder for me to fathom elected officials condoning this behavior and publicly condemning the efforts of ICE, truly mind-boggling.
