Neighbor releases a few pheasant hens around his place not that they will see spring but he does it anyway. He's been seeing a fox on his security cams that he wanted gone ASAP so put in a couple traps for him. I set out in the field a ways to avoid the usual brush critters.

Got this one today and found a fresh badger hole to set up not far from there.

Where are you in SD? I spent a week north of pierre and if I had a rifle I didn't see a predator to shoot. Saw enough pheasant I came back in a week .

Fishing was fantastic. Had to have a rain suit running in a bass boat. Very rough lake

Central SD off of I-90 you don’t see them because everyone is after them day, night, on land and in the air the state waged war on them suppressors and thermals are widely in use here.

Ugliest county I've ever seen till I got close to the river. Out on a boat and it's all canyons and gulleys was awesome..I flushed 27 rooster pheasant out of one draw when I motored up to them

West River is totally different rolling ranch country lots of nothing but that’s a good thing. East River is mostly farm country but don’t let it fool you more critters than people in SD.
