I was out checking traps along one of the creeks where the Cookie Monster is.
As I climbed out of the creek I saw the game warden parked behind my pickup..
We exchanged pleasantries, showed him my trapping liscese, and we started talking about trapping stuff.
He asked if I knew anything about the Cookie Monster,,,so I explained to him that it was an experiment…we walked over and he checked it out and started laughing… he said it was definitely different and the first time he saw something like that.
Laughing in a good way,,, because ya, he does look funny out there…I told him it wasn’t working as quickly as I hoped,, because the thermal guys in the area are really knocking them down… he said that theres other guys in other areas of the county hitting them hard as well.
Anyway,,, all was good, shook hands and that was it.
Soooo, nothing at the Cookie Monster yet…but, it’s not really out of my way so I’m gonna keep it out there awhile…
