........... phone holsters!!

My wife absolutely despises me wearing a phone holster. Says I look like an old man. I should just put it in my pocket or carry it in my hand.

So two things.

1. I don't like having something in my hand if I don't have to have it.
2. I have never sent my phone into the mouth of the porcelain god because I had my phone in my back pocket. My wife on the other hand....

Another reason is I have a pocket knife or two in one pocket and keys in the other. If I put my phone in with the keys or knife, it will get scratched horribly. And sitting on a phone is a sure way to bend the phone or crack the screen.

I do not carry my phone with me on the water trapline. I will on a land trap line.

So, how do you carry your phone?

In cool weather I wear a pocket T shirt under a long sleeve button up. Phone goes in the T shirt pocket. In hot weather I wear cargo shorts and the phone goes in one of the cargo pockets. In between times I don't know what to do with the phone. I have used a phone holster with a belt spring clip but had problems with it pushing off my belt and quit using it.

Back pocket. When I sit, it moves to my front pocket.

mostly in the leg pocket of my pants

I like pants with leg pockets , phone right , wallet left , knife and keys in the front pockets , nothing more than a receipt or two in back pockets , maybe a folded up list

you could get a vest to hold your phone , I have done that also , of course it gets more than just the phone but it is a handy way to carry a bunch of stuff , have it easily accessible and not be sitting on it

I did have a phone holster and would get one again if I could find a leather one that would hold it vertical

Back pocket. On my water line in the waterproof pouch of my waders.

I absolutely hate carrying my phone around. It goes in my back pocket, but it's uncomfortable to sit on, so I mostly take it out when I sit down. Just last week though, I found these pants at bomgaars that had a little pocket on the left thigh that gold it nicely.

Your wife is right. Put it in your back pocket.

if you wear dungarees or overalls they have the ruler pocket down the leg , perfect spot to stash the phone
overalls also give you the chest pocket

I just move too much and sit or lean without thinking to put it in the back pocket


you know if someone made some overalls with good sturdy straps and cargo pockets on the legs I would be in

back pocket... along with a folded neckerchief for extra padding

I start every morning with a procedure called “ loading my pants”……

Amazing how much stuff is in my pockets at the end of the day.

I have had my phone in an Otter Box and the "holster" that comes with it. I have carried a phone 24/7 in one for at least 15 years. I have never lost or broken a phone.

I have it in my shirt pocket.

well ,I just searched and I think Dungarees was used as a colloquial name for carpenters pans . probably what the work wear catalog grandma ordered them called them.

jeans have 2 front pockets and 2 rear pockets

everything I ever saw called a Dungaree or carpenter pant had a ruler pocket on the right leg and a hammer loop on the left.

my grandpa wore khaki dungarees 6 days a week till he retired when I was 21 he was a stone mason who also had a farm and always had a folding ruler in the ruler pocket
he wore his suit to church on Sunday morning then would put on jeans after church or for a holiday

Front pocket with my Skoal can. Have a permanent scratched ring on my screen.

Back pocket for me.

But the problem is I am WAY WAY past giving a crap what anyone thinks about me. Don't like me, take a number.

I am a very practical person with little regard for "fashion".

Buy a good case. like an Otter Box. Then Cary it in a pocket
