That's neat. Wouldn't want to deal with it if he got caught. Cage might not be as bad but you never know.

Looks like you need a bigger cage haha. I remember a few years back when a guy in colorado caught one in a cage. Part of the lion was out, but the cage came down enough that it couldn't get its shoulders out.

That was a common occurrence for me when I cage trapped. Seems the lions couldn’t help themselves when they came across a cage.

Cage traps only and can’t trap lions in Washington.

Gotta understand that here in the Socialist state of WA no body grip traps allowed no Conis not foot holds, no snares, only body grips allowed are rat traps so need to get me a bigger cage and then not sure even that allowed for cougars.
After closer look and studying the pictures of 1/4/26 and 1/11/26 more closely, IMO for what's it's worth, I think I have at least 2 different cats visiting the traps, based on coloration of the tails, size in comparison to traps distinct markings on the heads by the ears.
