I found a couple bottles of beaver lure that a friend had gave me years ago.1 is Leo hoefts beaver call lure and the other is blackies tail slapper would it still be good?

If stored properly,it should be.

If not it will stink. I use a lot of old lure, some has to be watered down to make liquid. For that I use fish oil, urine, just plane old Booze(and fruity smelling booze too)

Could you use mineral oil to try and get it in a more liquid form if dried out?

Two good lures...glycerin should work mix it with a bit water before adding to lure.

I've used lure that was older than me, that worked well still.

… I like a skunk kick in predator “curiosity “ lures … and that dissipates fairly quickly

… I have no experience with beaver lure though… the few I catch are with 280’s in runs or crossovers

I would venture to say that the skunk dissipating to your nose may be a mellowed and subtle addition to a k9 set.
