I have been wanting to go squirrel hunting the last few days but the wind won't quit. I cant hear them in a calm day, eyes aren't picking them up as well either boys were going nuts trying to point them out i didn't see when Thayer were deer hunting and I took a .22. So add the extra movement from trees blowing around along with the wind and im sitting at home. Maybe tomorrow the front will be done and the wind will calm down.

Always seems to be bad weather when I take days off. Well at least I got 3 truck loads of wood brought in yesterday. Saw some coyote scat in a few places on the farm on a walk this morning so its not all unproductive

Thats why you guys are so good at shooting distance in the wind. Wide open and lots of wind. I probably cant hold a candle to most guys that grew up out there.
