LOL!

You got to give it to Subaru. They were on point with their marketing.

My wife bought one last year I give her grief all of the time. She would not let me go with her and she paid too much I remind her of that also.

Just got done driving one out to Maine and back...great handling in inclement conditions. I was worried the whole time someone might recognize me grin

The wife took hers in for the free oil change that comes with it. They “fixed” a mysterious transmission leak but it never leaked any fluid here so I think they bagged some warranty money for doing nothing or nothing that was needed to be fixed.

Their old marketing slogan get out and stay out was a double meaning word play about geting out of the closet and staying out. Watched a special about them and that was shown in internal memos.

My wife and kids owned many Subarus thru the years. They were all very reliable and very good handling on the snowy icy mountain roads around here. I'm secure enough in my manhood to admit I shamelessly drove them a lot thru the years. They provided great safety for winter driving for my family. We don't presently own one but would not hesitate to buy another out of worry of some of your stereotyping. LOL.

Each day is a gift. LIVE IT with gratitude.

I used to drive a Subaru in college, that I bought with beaver money. Hauled a bunch of dead critters in that little car. As I recall I was getting better than 30 miles to the gallon, so one muskrat would take care of fuel for the day. I do remember a couple other trappers and one fur buyer giving me a hard time about it though.

We have had a crosstrek for nearly 10 years. Put some Falcon tires on it and the thing is a mule. Why all the stereotyping for those that have one. 30+ mpg, AWD and easy to change oil. I'd buy another one.

To be fair, I've seen a lot of lesbians and granola folk in Subarus. Not sure why. The stereotype seems to be accurate a high percentage of the time.
To be clear, I'm not accusing you of being either a lesbian, or a granola person.

The boxer engine ones use oil.
Fuel mileage, dinky brakes, and suspension are terrible. The dealer lies.
Other than that, they suck.
