If you think our nation is in trouble now, just wait… As our streets boil over with hate, anger, crime, drugs, and just sheer hopelessness, is there something we can do? You bet there is.
I would like to call for a time of prayer and repentance this Wednesday, January 14, at 12:00 noon.
As a nation, our sins are so great. We have increasingly turned our backs on God and His commands, embracing godless secularism. We need to ask His forgiveness and seek His face.
Pray for our leaders, and pray that God would bring calm to our streets.
There are many who would like to stir things up—there are even those who would like to destroy this great country. Pray that these efforts would be thwarted and their plans would be brought into confusion.
Ask God to use His Church to be His instruments of peace in this time of great uncertainty.
Remember, this Wednesday at noon, please stop and pray. Millions of people remembering our sins and asking for forgiveness, repenting, and seeking His face will make a difference.
Let’s humble ourselves. Let’s give God the glory for this great nation and thank Him for His hand of blessing, protection, and mercy.

Lord I pray for the people in our nation. I pray they understand who You are and what You have done for them. God, I pray You forgive me of my sins and draw me closer to You daily. Lord, I pray You take all my frustration and discouragement from our leadership and those lacking common sense today. God I pray protection over those serving You and pray conviction over those not. Lord I pray our pride not swell and we begin to grow in our lives more as You would have us. Let us stand on Godly principles and truths and not waiver as those around us waiver. Let us understand who we are in Your kingdom and who Your chosen nation is. Lord I pray those reading this begin to understand the depth of love You hold for them and draw them as only You can draw them. Lord I pray for the peace of Jerusalem and may our country always stand with the Jews. Lord, thank You for allowing me, a gentile, to be grafted in. God, I pray for wisdom and guidance through the Holy Spirit to our President and this administration as they lead this nation You have so richly blessed. Lord I pray I remain calm today and may Your love be reflected through my actions, speech, and attitude today. Thank You Jesus.
