The local truck stop here (not a huge one) is now run by Casey’s they must be branching out more it looks like. Seen a charge on my checking (cash card) account I couldn’t figure when I was in a Casey’s the last time now that donuts are a no go.

Trying to stay relevant with kwik trip expansion.

People also eating more at gas stations vs fast food, the kwik trip here is packed at lunch, lines and food going out like mad, fast food restaurants are dead slow

The only food that Casey's has that's worth eating is the pizza

There is a Casey's truck stop about 20-30 minutes down 13hwy from us.
I was wondering myself if they're trying to join the ranks of Flying J, Pilot,etc.

Were getting a Buckee's. Everyone at the factory is talking about the Janitor job they posted for 6 figures a year and how they may just go clean restrooms.

Thwyre building, updating and taking over a lot of places around here

Casey's, Pilot, Loves, Quick trip are not truck stops. Just big gas stations with diesel fuel.

If Ohio gets one before Oklahoma does , I’ll never step foot in one ever again. That’ll show ‘em.

x2 Kwik Trip pretty much is dominating in the upper Midwest. They are clean and get better employees.

Sigh…I’ll miss their pecans and jerky.

Had Casey's breakfast pizza this morning

Casey's food sucks.
But like all major gas station chains, they are always expanding.

Gas station pizza sucks, except Caseys. Caseys pizza is the gold standard of what gas station pizza should be. Wish we had a Caseys down here.

They no longer make them fresh every morning. They come in frozen and are really not good. Used to be the best around. Their pizzas are ok, breakfast pizza is the best they offer. Their pork tenderloins are great if they’re fresh. Their breakfast burrito is pretty good but over priced. The rest of their stuff is mediocre at best.

There's not much at that exit off of I70 where they are building the Buc-ee’s. We put in some security equipment off of 235 there back in around 2001 at a couple of different places. We mostly put in entry card scanners and some alarms.

We will definitely check out Buc-ee’s when it opens.

But the last I heard they were the 5th largest pizza chain in the country,

And there needs to be a big asterisk on the diesel fuel. Pulling a fifth wheel RV, most of all those have too small island areas out front, and I have to resort to the back 40 with the 18 wheelers. Don’t have that problem at a Buc-eee’s. Glad they’re expanding. And the food is good.

I will say I have never been in a QT and had bad customer service. Always seem to well kept people and polite.
