Back strap cut into butterfly steaks. They will be coated in seasoned flour and fried in a copious amount of butter.

That is my favorite way do to venison back strap. Salt and pepper after plated, rest of family don’t care for the pepper.

I prefer mine grilled but fried like a chicken fried steak with good grease gravy would be good too.

I got a crockpot of ham and beans going and cornbread in the oven for supper tonight.

I just made that yesterday but I don't use flour and I cut the chops through instead of butterflied. I sautéed onions and green peppers along with the venison. Sprinkle with pepper, salt and garlic powder.
