Emmett found an old shed right next to one of his sets. We've been walking past it for a couple weeks now, but yesterday he let out with a yell and came out of the brush with this. I've always had poor luck finding them, but maybe he'll develop an eye for it. Anyone else finding any?

Some folks spend a lot of time hunting sheds. I've never looked on purpose, but find one now and then while doing something else.
Seems like its usually about March here when the deer start to drop them.

We have a while to wait before they start dropping typically. My 15 year old gets pretty serious about it going over the farm many times a week. Funny or sad part is he finds little ones spike and forks. His younger brother has not into goes now and then findes the larger nice ones.

Im seeing some still wearing antlers, and some that have already shed out. The antler he found is from a previous year though, tucked up under a cedar where there isn't much snow.

Nothing yet but wouldn't be surprised if there are a few out there. This cold spell that just settled in might help drop a few.

This morning

Lots of local bucks are still sporting their bone on our place.

8 point dropped half his rack in our yard this morning.

Different folks have told me they saw bucks with horns this week Had lots of cold weather and snow from the middle of Nov. on Rut was middle of Oct to which was early but not uncommon Only normal thing was i have a large supply of tag soup on hand again

Bucks are chasing fawns around here but I’ve seen a couple half racks
