I know all the reputable lure and bait makers have a good solution but what's your favorite?

Does one ever wonder if the lack of responses to favorite bait or lure, is like asking for a hunting honey hole?

Tried some of Locklears Federales bait solution. It seams to start out with some unique odors and then the rotten smell seams to take over.Had pretty good luck with it.Mixed beaver, venison and bobcat all ground up.

I buy the 2.5gal pails of bobcat or beaver meat from MTP and scoop in old bait jars and give a good little squirt of Jameson’s Mouse Musk and stir/shake the best I can. Been working really good this year.

Just certain things are. You see posts on here where they or someone is trapping, when they start, how long they’ll be there, they show thier catches, how it’s going, etc. But you don’t see them coming on here and replying to what they’re using.

Katz Bros has some great videos and books on bait and lure formations. I think trying a simple formula and building off of whay works in your area by systematically trying different essences and additives. Before you know it you will have a bait and lure dialed in that works the best for the area your trapping.
