Any one have experience with these kits and have a preference for them i picked up a few older victor #3 and figured among a couple other things they could use a 4 coil upgrade

All I've ever used are Mr. JC's products for modifying my traps and others. Good people to deal with..

stonecounty, I have used them ALL, they are fairly easy to install. FYI, doing the first couple, you MIGHT get your fingers whacked but that is normal.
JC's Taos Lightening Kits are the best and easiest to install. SOME of the kits make the trap spring tension TOO STRONG. These kits are great IF
you add on jaw laminations. ETEXTRAPPER is a master at trap mods. if you are interested in doing that...great welder.
