Savell and all you Texan's.. Had a great trip, spent a week with the children (read that grand child!!) and then spent a week fishing the Aransas Pass area.. Caught a bunch of fish, LOL - lot of small ones!! 13-16 inch redfish were over the top, had 50 plus a day. Just couldn't buy an 18 incher or better.. Caught a number of over and under trout and cleaned a few. saw a lot of interesting scenery and looked at a couple of retirement options while hanging out.. Really like the Rockport area and are focusing a bit more on Refugio county just off the coast..I just asked the wife why aren't we still down there in the far better weather than here as it's 12 degrees and howling snow outside.. sigh... She couldn't give me a good answer!! I set up a storage unit/shop down there and left my small salt water boat with all the fishing gear and a decent selection of tools and general stuff so I don't have to move it back and forth. Anyone ever need boat storage or a shop area down in south TX this place really is excellent. Has 8 dedicated boat wash bays with engine flushing options. Really liked cleaning the boat and flushing entirely after each trip. Two large commercial ice makers - free to the folks who use the facility, clean rest rooms and literally 9 mins from two boat launches..I'm thinking this TX thing is gonna get serious this year.. Other than property taxes we found a lot to like down yonder..

Gerald, ain't gonna lie, best gift my Son ever gave to me right there.. Made raising his ornery butt worth it!! I'm blessed beyond belief and thank God for it every day..
