bluesage OP trapper B Joined: Dec 2011 Wyoming	I'd like to make up some castor based bobcat lure with catnip. any thoughts on ratio of ground castor to catnip oil? How about artificial catnip vs. authentic - any difference in effectiveness?

Yes sir trapper Y Joined: Jan 2017 Marion Kansas	We have a house cat that goes wacky for real catnip I pick myself and dry. Same cat has no response to the artificial stuff or a tincture I made out of the real stuff. I know Tracy has informed us numerous times oil or alcohol kills the ingredients cats respond to in silver vine. He might of said the same about catnip. I cant remember but my experience is that only the real stuff in natural form has attraction. Last edited by Yes sir; 4 hours ago.
