Thanks Rusty. Looks like good prices, overall. $10.00 muskrat would be nice to see. And also, interesting to see nutria moving at more than $2.00!

I think it was mentioned that some dealers had cats that they had high minimums on.

I heard tell that some rats skinned open with tail on were shipped down from the land of many lakes. Those were the $10 rats no doubt.

They were mostly Texas and New Mexico cats. No A bellies in that bunch. Narrow, dark bellies for the most part.

I wanted to let everyone know about the upcoming fur sale. It’s going to be January 23-24 at the Blackfoot fairground’s Needle Craft Building (same as previous years).
Check-ins for fur will be:
Friday 23rd 6pm-9pm
Saturday 24th 7am-10am
We will have an auction and a membership meeting Saturday after check ins are complete. Please bring a donation item for the auction if you are able to. We will provide lunch Saturday as well.
We need fur consignments! Buyers are very excited and are wanting to know what we have.

Good job Rusty! I think the bulk of fur will be sold late this year as most producers seem to be waiting to see what the market will returns mature into.
