Any advice on this set for coyote?
Made this set, hoping for snow to cover, but wondering about opinions on the small brush at lower left - should I leave it or is it boxing things in too much?
You can obviously see where trap is, encased in waxed dirt. Dunlaps massacre in poke hole under log, + shot of P.
Also have a baited dirthole about 15’ away.
Any thoughts appreciated.

My opinion, I'd spread a lot more dirt all around making it a much bigger mess, less noticable where the trap is. If it snows it'll all blend then. That twig shouldn't hurt anything.

Thanks ADC.
I’d make it flashier, but there’s a regular b-cat around I’m trying to avoid. In my limited experience flashier = cat. Trying to keep less conspicuous until some snow cover.
My concern is/was twig making a yote hesitant. Appreciate your input on that too.

that broken off tree in front of your set really caught my eye, i would use that as a post set, bed in waxed dirt and then lightly cover with loose snow.

I wouldn't put it there, but if that seedling was already there I would leave it. If it snows to blend that you should be good. I have had real poor luck with canines stepping in a dirt spot like that if it doesn't snow.

Take your sifter and sift a little snow over dirt pattern.
