When you answer it pops up as a sucker and will keep calling your # for days. If you dont answer will only try couple times before taken off list.

it seemed like I was starting to get fewer of them , hadn't answered a call from anyone who wasn't in my phone book in like a month or more.

have a ringer for callers I don't have in my phone book , the tinkle tinkle soft and light ring that I just ignore unless I am expecting something

then I had a reason I had to answer a call that I wasn't going to know what number it was coming from , it was important , in the 4 days I was answering my phone the number of spam calls went up 5X at least
I was down to less than 1 a day many days and I was almost immediately up to 5 - 7 a day.

if it is important they can leave a message , just make sure you actually have VM set up.

now a week of not answering one I seem to be back to 1-3 a day

Worst is when expecting Dr to call. Cant go by what phones says is calling. once had phone say Dad was calling. Thought was funny because he was taking a shower in other room.

Maybe he wanted you to wash his back?

I had every hospice nurses number saved under the hospice place in my phone book.

I should probably clean all the dead people out of my phonebook , about the time I go to do it , I don't feel like it so all the dead people stay in my phone book also.

Another reason not to answer.

Back when I DID have a phone, I kept a sports horn next to it, and anytime some schmuck called me trying to sell something, I'd give them a 2 second shot. Had many of them calling back to raise heck, but they'd just get another shot! LOL

I hate em too, when we get spam calls I answer and say either "Land of Misfit Toys, how may I help you?"
Or "Hey this is Maverick from Top Gun, Alpha Bravo ****static**** Alpha *Static* (chrrrrrrrk chrrrrrrrrk) then hang up.
