The lake fell a foot over night but the float still scored. Good, chunky flat tail

nice catch!


listen money cant buy happiness but it can buy traps, fishing lures and guns witch is practically the same thing.

I use the same as 330-trapper. In my above post there are several pictures. If u need additional, I will take them when I retrieve this setup on Friday. It works better than I expected.

That wouldn't be a legal set in CT, all BG but 110's must be totally submerged. Is there a way to lower the trap, yet still be effective?

I doubt it would be effective. They’d just swim over top of it.

I notice when trapping TN waters the water level can change quickly, floats are a must when conibears can't be used.

Correct. As you can see in the picture, two days prior that float had well over 18"s of water below it. TVA pulled the plug and drained the lake. I'm not sure if he was caught while the float was floating or dry.
