That's funny ! Had no idea what a "supper club" was until I saw that thread.

Rumors of my demise are greatly exaggerated. My extent of trapping this year has been a couple ride alongs with a young man who wanted some help catching coons. I loaned him some of my DP’s and showed him how and where to set em. He did okay I suppose for his first year and didn’t start till j2 weeks ago. Caught 19 coons, 1 skunk and 1 possum.
Been spending most of my time trying to get my honey bee operation started. Building equipment, putting up a 20x70 extraction building and getting the extraction equipment hunted down and in place. Made a 22 hour round trip drive to Minnesota to pick up two hundred super’s about the time they whacked that disgruntled heshe in Minneapolis. Made another 30 swarm traps ( puts me at 65) to catch bees with. Caught 39 swarms last year and trying for 60 more this year. My goal is to get too 500 colonies with in the next couple years.
Getting older and slowing down a little but still pushing. Was lined up to have a good Pecan crop this year until my neighbor drifted some weed and brush killer into my orchard. Ended up with a third of a crop and still worried about the long term affects on the trees. Always another adventure or rodeo to go see. Life and retirement is great, if you don’t weeken.
