We stop going to the Twin Cities several years ago due to all the crime down there.

I went for a wedding in ST. Paul in November, my wife hid my MAGA hat she was afraid of walking with me.

So in the article it or he the police chief said numerous individuals were accosted by ICE illegally, yet no names, places or times to back up his allegations. If it did happen to somebody they would for sure have gotten their 15 min. of fame on atleast one fake news outlet.

Every neighborhood we work in Minneapolis we have security detail.

The story does have holes, but they had an official news conference with several police chiefs so to me it gives it some legs as they are not going to get up in front of the media to somewhat criticize fellow enforcement officers (well, sort of officers in some cases). In the case of the female Brooklyn park officer who was allegedly stoped, she tried to record and they knocked the phone down then left as soon as she identified herself as a police officer (presumably to avoid being if’s themselves). MOST folks in this country don’t want 15 minutes of fame, they just want 15 minutes of common sense.



I’m not worried at all aside from getting inadvertently stuck in the middle of some overly zealous protest combined with overly zealous enforcement since i am buying one marketplace item In St. Paul and the other in Minneapolis somewhere. Admittedly just stirring the pot here a bit to try provide some middle ground thought to the ridiculous rhetoric flying back and forth. Being the moderate fence sitter that I am on a lot of things, sometimes I just can’t help myself in between chores on a nice brisk day off!

I know you’re preaching the truth. Electrician buddy of mine has ended up with some jobs right in the heart of it, sure has some interesting and sad stories. The criminals have been emboldened. Minneapolis and St Paul have gutted and neutered their police force.

Took my wife to the social security office today. Had armed guards. I left my pistol in the glove box but guard asked if I had a knife or any other weapons. I handed him my very traditional style buck stockman. He said thanks and put it in a drawer. I noticed a ball point pen on a desk. Not a pushbutton type but a long slender plastic pen. So me being me I picked it up and said look here is another deadly weapon. He just gave me a look so I laughed and told him I was aware he didn't make the rules but they made no sense to me. We got to talking. He had just returned from a 30 day medical leave. Was attacked and suffered a concussion subduing a guy inside the building. Said he came in and threatened to shoot everyone in there. Guy was not charged with a crime or committed to a mental institution due to ongoing mental health issues. This kind of nonsense is why our cities are not safe.

Just heard there is a pretty big protest going on but it’s pretty cold up there so I’m having trouble believing it’s very big.

They layer up, have to use some of their paid protest cash for "work gear."

If downtown, there's a bit of an urban heat island, warmer there than in the surrounding country side. But the sub zero temps will probably freeze up the anarchists spray paint cans after a burst or two. People they don't think is "one of them" have usually gotten their vehicles spray painted, typically at night.

If Im not mistaken, MN is a duty to retreat state. Gotta run before you shoot. So the simple solution is to just not go. Ever. For anything.
