Im taking some time off work last minute with ms issues but thought i could ride around the farm and put some sets out with the boys( not as dangerous as driving heavy equipment with numb tingling legs that dont function as expected while having vertigo) . Then I thought about the snow we are expecting. 8" to 24" from what the wife saw. Now we dont get much snow but I did get some #3 ls Victor's to use since I read they dont freeze down like coils. Since we dont get much snow i dont know if its a wast of time..

So is it worth setting before the snow or wait tell after? Figured mostly k 9 since I figured coon will den up.

I may be better off spending time supervising the boys cutting fire wood. What's the verdict?

Always set before the storm....or weather front.

Critters are on the move..they have that 6th sense

Put out a big draw station in thick cover a dead cow, roadkill deer, any pile of dead meat whatever you can get your hands on, something big preferably so they can’t drag it off. Let them hit on it and tell their friends about it then snare it up the further away the better.

Was born in a Big City Will die in the Country OK with that!

This close to the storm and with those snow totals, I would wait until after it was over. Go in and clear out about a 6' spot at your set locations and set your trap like you normally would.

May be what I have to end up doing anyway. I like to think i can keeo doing at least a little things but could well be lying to myself. I was figuring i could mostly just supervise the kids( they dont need me to at this point it s just spending time and trying to feel useful) I did just break out my wast high walking stick for balance and stability getting around in the house tonight. Would be smartest to do nothing and lay around but thats nearly impossible for me to do. Already turned down the last two days of work when called in and just called off for tomorrow. Hopefully i dont miss any more but may have to call in sat and Sunday.

Just trying to think of small things I can do something I dont go nuts feeling useless Checked mys out of the hospital 2 days early back in October couldn't sit in that room any longer. Didn't do s lot but tinkered with small things at home . Daughters truck needs the 4wd actuator put in. That seems simple I can walk the boys through that from a chair.

Sure am looking forward to catching something in long springs for the first time.
