A big honkin' house cat!

I went out there this morning about the same time and I was casting a shadow. So maybe the longer tail is a shadow on the bean stubble behind it. It would come up pretty far on my leg. The snow patches are crystals and there was a couple round cat tracks, no detail because of the powder. I would say 2 1/4" or close to it. To cold to go measure it.
We have Bobcat here and this year they had the first season, but that is in the Southern part of the state.
I don't know if I want one on the farm for sure.

I think you are correct, seeing those pics on the computer close together makes it easier to see. Big cat.

You're looking at a tabby feral/house cat.
There's nothing in the background that would look like a tail.

For sure. That tail isnt a shadow and it doesnt appear to even be knee high.

I did a little with the picture to try to enhance it some. Too bad it's as grainy as the surveillance footage of every criminal at the quicky mart on the corner. lol
