A cut wolf collar was found a couple miles from Yellowstone Park in a tree. Allegedly it had been illegally killed Christmas night but the animal wasn’t located. The reward for information leading to the identification of the wolf “murderer” is up to $31,000. I just can’t fathom it. Those same people wouldn’t put up 5 cents to help find missing children. In the meantime, the “native Americans” are running around the same area killing hundreds of elk all winter long and not a peep from the so called wildlife lovers. Crazy world we live in.

Agree 100%.......I wonder how many tax dollars have been spent on wolf programs the last 10 years ?

A bounty would be better

Wolves should have never been reintroduced but this is preaching to the choir. I assume the scenario is: shot collared wolf, cut off collar to remove tracing back to the scene of where it was shot. Hope the person doesn't get caught. Even though collar was removed I assume the authorities already know where it was shot at. When they collared deer around here it would send a signal back every hour or so. The Dept of Conservation had a computer map that showed the deers movements 24/7.
