Jerrys... best.. too many to name.. worst?? He was yote trapping with a guy one time(not in arkansas) and things were slow cause the guy didnt have the yotes he thought he did....when they were checking their traps they saw a yote in someone elses trap just over the fence..at the end of the day the guy he was with said " if id known we went gonna catch anything id have took that guys coyote" he also lied about how much gas they were using..

They were supposed to be splitting costs 50/50. Jerryd see him putting in 20.00 in gas and the guyd tell him 30.00.

If ya go out of state.. be prepared for anything....

My best memory is when my daughter lost her boots 7n the mud trying to get to a coon trap and jerry had to carrt her out..she was 4.
The worst was when i got my thumb caught in a #11 and jerry grinned at me...and took his time letting me out. That was probably a worst memory for him come to think or it.lol cause i was NOT happy with his grinnin.. grin

I also enjoyed it when i coon outsmarted him for weeks and i told him to leave him some food when he pulled his traps cause he won..the look he gave me....

Young and dumb in 1978. Trapping Wisconsin River near Wausau, WI before school on a cold early November day. 14 years old at the time and by myself on the line. Wading along the shoreline with hip-boots on. Had a #2 Victor square jaw double coilspring set up under an overhanging bank for muskrat, raccoon or mink. Too dark to see (and no flashlight!) so I reached under bank with my hand to feel for the trap chain but found the center of the pan with three fingers instead. Ouch. Would have been easy to remove if I had a long enough wire attached to the end of the chain but I had a short wire that was tied to an exposed root back under the overhang. Young, dumb and inexperienced. Could not reach the trap and fully compress the trap levers with one hand. Only option was to sit down on my butt in the water and insert my feet under the overhang and push the levers down with my heels while one hand was still securely in the trap. Glad I was flexible! Got the trap off finally but was now drenched and had a 2 mile walk back home in 30 degree weather. Skipped checking the rest of the line and headed straight home. Warmed up with a quick shower and made the bus stop just in time. Fur was worth a lot more then which made the experience somewhat more enjoyable!

Checking a trap on a high bank was 1980 16 years old put my hand on a dead elm to take a peak and the tree went so I made a nice belly flop in the water it was about 33 degrees out . I was a little cold by the time I walked back to my truck
