I suspect ALL levels of government have laws stating that if you ACTIVELY IMPEDE A LAW OFFICER ENFORCING THE LAW you can, and probably will, get arrested. If you resist getting arrested, you will get hands on you. If you're packing a gun and resist getting arrested for impeding a LEO, you might get shot, especially if you grab the weapon. End of story.
I suspect that Blaine County could probably impede his county's LEOs while they were enforcing the law because he probably knows all of them but things might be different if he tried to argue and physically block LEOs making an arrest in say OK City. Loose goose probably stands less of a chance of not getting arrested interfering with a local LEO but he could always try a social science experiment and go and try next time he sees one of his LEOs doing a traffic stop or other enforcement activities.
I hope the federal racketeering indictments and arrests come soon to hopefully return some sanity to Minneapolis. This "resistance" is highly organized and financed. Federal LEOs while on duty are constantly followed as soon as they leave their federal building and in any place they stop, crowds will gather and get into your faces in almost all instances within 10 minutes or so. The protestors are entering ANYONE's license plate into a "database" that they share among themselves. I found it funny that the FNC reporters there on the ground were told during red lights or when they were stopped that their license plates have been entered into the protestors' "bad guy" database. Last night the protestors "owned" several blocks around where Saturday's shooting happened and they were deciding who could use the public streets to drive on.
Loose goose brings up the pre-1775 Boston patriots and likens them to the Mpls area protest syndicate. What he fails to realize or resists acknowledging is that the pre-1775 Patriots had no true ability to write and enforce their own laws without the Crown's final agreement. What the federal LEOs are trying to do is to enforce current federal law dealing with immigration. The basic premise of the Minnesota "resistance" is that those laws are illegal and instead of getting the U.S. Congress to change the laws, they will resist the U.S. Executive branch to enforce them. Its really that simple.
P.S. If you watch a good amount of "protest porn" as I have done, probably only about 25% of the protestors will basically go limp when the fed LEOs go to arrest them for impeding. The rest will fight back. They have been trained to do so because their resisting arrest uses up time and manpower and bogs down the enforcement efforts and allows more impeding protesters to show up. Thus, there are various illegal conspiracies interwoven at multiple geographical scales to activity break federal law. We'll see what happens
