Gaethje is who I am rooting for. Paddy always shocks me, with his wins, though.

Watched some of the prelims. There were a few good fights.

Gaethje has been my favorite fighter for a long time. It will be very depressing if paddy retires him tonight. Hope gaethje knocks the tar out of him.

Im a Gaethje fan and my initial thought was he would win but there are a lot of people in the know are picking Pimblett.

I was talking to one of my best friends yesterday and he told me that my 14 year old godson is now taking 15 hours of MMA training a week, which is the most offered. He's training with adults now. He's been taking various martial arts since he was 6. He won all 3 matches in his last tournament. I'm hoping to go watch his next tournament.

Me, never being a cage fighter, the last guy I would have wanted to step in the ring with would have been ole Tank Abbott.
He ain't right In the head and that's not something I care to go up against.
The UFC had to raise the height of the cages because Tank beat up a guy and lifted him up and threw him over the cage wall.

Was happy to see Gaethje win, they both seemed like very good sports about it.
I was hoping for the Chinese guy to win, his opponent looked like he might live in a trailer park.

That was a good fight. Pimblet took a beating, I'm surprised he went five and was still swinging at the buzzer. I'm also surprised they didn't call Gaethje's eye poke in the second or third. His thumb went in Paddy's eye up to the knuckle. LOL

It was a good fight, for UFC. Any more I like watching the One Championship fights. Always been into Muay Thai striking more than the UFC’s blend of fighting styles.

That was the first MMA event I watched in years. I couldn't get them since I dropped the sports package on my cable. Then I saw Paramount Plus has UFC events now.

They both have iron jaws, some of those hits Paddy took would have dropped most martial artists. He shook them off like nothing. The one that really hurt him was a shot to the midsection early in the fight.
