I was tossing around the idea of making a bait that would possibly target Mink but also take coon and otter a 50/50 muskrat and crawdad base and a little beaver castor would it be worth a shot or is there something better

I used salted bullheads, would catch otters in pocket sets for mink, not too often worked well for mink on a 220/160 impaled the fish and set in/under water. The salt toughened the fish so they wouldn't "melt/spoil", Kurt and I netted a lot of small fish that we couldn't sell live so we salted them and found a use for 'em!

targeting mink and coon use shellfish oil and Haulbakers concentrated clam oil and add either one to smelt or sardines in oil that will give you a top notch bait as you get late into the season the female mink will start to drip and come into heat
thats when clean mink gland should be used because the males become big time territorial
