Bucks were in front of a camera last night at 2113 hrs.

One minute later, the big fork horned buck stepped out of the pic but left an antler laying in the road.

Gonna ride down to the property in a few and collect that.

First time I've had an antler dropped in front of a camera.

I had both of a buck's antlers drop on a small pile of corn, in front of my tree stand once. I posted it here.

This is interesting how areas are different. Y’all are falling off and ours are still on go here. Our deer will hold till late Feb early March here in my area.

Yes...he has....but it was a long rut. Lots of rubbing, scraping, and breeding. He didn't lose much body fat though... grin

There will be a few here still holding them into early spring. Latest I've seen was Easter in early April.....but that's rare.

Most drop here in February.

I glassed five bucks still with both sides on last night. I can't figure out when the best time to look for them is. Easter always seemed late.
