Guys,, is it just me or do you guys see the same things going on today as when the Kansas/Nebraska act started.
I know we aren’t at the point of people riding over states borders and terrorizing individuals. , murder and burning down homesteads,Yet.

But we have parties, intentionally using minorities as chess pawns ( not the normal way either) . National sovereignty was the term used,,, and whatever the majority wanted Kansas is how things were going to be,,, if the majority voted for slavering it would become a slave state, and vice versa..
Democrats had people sneak into Kansas to vote in favor of… which caused residents of Kansas to cry foul.. things started to get worse,,, and then Missouri got involved because of their allies who snuck into Kansas.
This is a just a short summary,,, lots of other things happened,,,
But this is the powder and the keg that was built and when it was lit, became the civil war.
