Tourism is why some of the isolated lines are unobtainable for the average trapper. Big $$$. Manitobas RTLs aren’t handed out that way though.
Anyone doing a late February wolf hunt in southeast Manitoba? You might be seeing me drive by the blind as we go for beaver. There’s a local outfitter set up a bait near one of mine, and there ain’t much for wolf left…….lol
