It hesitated for a few days below 5000, now it blew right past it and doesn't seem to be looking back.
My only concern for long time price stability is that there are a lot of gold deposits that were sub-economic, that will now be economic.....except that it generally takes about 10 years to gring a mine into production.
Probably more important is, what is this projecting about the overall economy?

Its projecting the purchasing power of the dollar, is going down

Technology is deflationary. As AI and robotics advance, the trend accelerates

The monetary system fights this by creating inflation

Central banks print money( banks just giving mortgages/loans add money to the system) to prop up prices

result? A massive transfer of wealth from labor to asset holders

Bottom line,,,,,, the money is broken
