Our season has been rough but the spouse finally got a decent female. Naturally he had no camera since I was not with him on the check.
Going to move our line to another part of the property this weekend to run until the end of the month.

Nice cat. Unless I'm checking traps next to the truck I don't have a camera with me either. My wife 100% supports my trapping but doesn't go with me.

Last check found mt lion tracks so probably for the better we're moving, don't want to have to release him.

Those are sold whole to taxidermists.better prices on those.my other less quality cats are sold into the fur market.taxidermist cats are harder to sale and in less volume but worth it for the good prices

Also I take pictures of the catches at the sets and keep boxes in my truck.they are easier to go ahead and curl up and get in the smallest box possible while warm.when I get home they are weighed and the date caught written on the boxes for shipping purposes and frozen whole

Sex of the cat is written on the box also
