I hope you see this. Your response on the coon thread reminded me of something. Way back in the day, around 2000-2001, my school bus route went passed your house. Every now and then, you would have some coyote hides hanging out on the side of your shed. It would get me pumped up to set traps, and was part of my inspiration to learn how to catch canines. You and I have met, but never got to know each other, but I thought I'd let you know about that and thank you for unknowingly motivating a 12 year old wannabe trapper. Figured this was as good a place as any to say thanks.

…. Cool story

… only memory I have of the school bus ride home was a black dude that would fight imaginary adversaries with a sword in his front yard

…. Always looked forward to going by his place

Insert profound nonsense here

Younger guy-- You were the one pulled over,
acting like on the phone,
with hoodie up and window down.

Older guy--- Yep, heater and radio were cranked too.

Well Sam, you've now reminded me that I'm an old timer in two different threads!
Just kidding. Glad I was able to inspire a new trapper. Looks like you have been doing an excellent job of passing that along.

Lol. My apologies sir. Don't want you to feel old, just to know that you made a positive difference.

Ha! reminds me of a story from way back in the 70's. My partner and I had an impressive carcass pile going at his place just out of a small town in southern MN. He gets a call from a neighbor in town. You gotta do something about that carcass pile, my dog has been coming over and dragging them home each night. My buddy says, That's ok we've got plenty he can have all he wants. Didn't go over well.

I got a call like that once, I asked how his dog got out of his yard.
