I'm embarrassed to admit how many Triumph #1 LS and #1 & 21 LS Diamonds I have acquired at my age. I have 36 new rat floats I have built and decided to arm them (2/float) with the Triumph's and Diamonds as about only 1/2 have good/excellent pans. The Triumphs and older Diamonds have the pinched cross and don't hold up to an occasional coon catch on rat shore sets. I'm saving the 0 ones with T's, 2 holes and any skeleton pans but does anyone see a need for me to save the regular others? I have enough to cover more floats should I get the bug to build more. The V's and B&L's constitute my rat outfit in ponds, lakes and sloughs (when we have water) which is not looking good for this year's moisture count. I doubt the users are worth more than 2.00 ea. with the rat fur price so I thought I would resurrect them from the antique pile. Anyone got a comment for my decision?

With these prices...nope. IF you had specific properties where thieves were present...then yes.
Very common traps. BUT this is the same guy with a garage full of a little of everything...lol
I try to put packages together for state trapping assoc. auctions and donate.

P.S. I have used them through the years when short of the V's and B&L's for/on occasional rat floats, or in houses. A caught coon absolutely eats the flimsy dog of these Tri and Dia. #1's and will chew/damage the pinched cross which is why I have stored so many through the years. Back in the 80's, when folks were modifying #1 LS's for coons is when I had conversations with Charlie Dobbins and others about #1 use. Hard to beat a #1 B&L or older V's LS's with the cast jaws so the Triumphs and Diamonds got reserve duty and with floats will be used when and if we get some moisture years. ............................the mike
