If I could travel back in time,,,, I would open an account in St kitts or the Bahamas or someplace similar

Nobody explains that when you’re younger,,, even tho all the overlords/bankers/politicians do it

Short of giving up citizenship(which is extremely difficult/costly) everyone gets taxed on worldwide income,,,, there’s no escaping it

Even tho there is an exit,,,it’s just not easy

I am retired,,,,, the republic of Alberta would be nice

Taxes are manageable. There is no place I'd rather be than the US.

The sale went through today. We did bring some 90% stuff (around $2,000 worth). He said he would buy that amount only because we have sold him so much pure. Said they are all done buying junk silver until the backlog at the refineries is gone.

My son was going to sell 200 oz yesterday, got a price from a store in Central Oregon. They quoted him a price $6 under spot. Spot was $112. He drove 4 hours to the store and the guy said we've changed our minds. We're paying $86.25. There were 4 people in line selling silver. He took it back home

Liquidity in the retail market is becoming a major problem.

Correct. Only one main player local to us now. Locked in $100 per ounce if delivered tomorrow. Girls parting ways with 100 more ounces total. The rest of the pure and a whole lot of 90% getting put back away. Lost track of how much they sold. Glad I collected it over the years. Not sure how I accumulated the sum in my poor years. But I did.

Silver was cheap then.

Buy 2 ounces a week for 20 years and 2080 ounces.

Before this run up most people spent more than 2 ounces a week on beer, cigs, scratchoffs, coffee, McDonalds, etc, It's all about priorities.

I should have stated that liquidity in the silver market is becoming a major problem. Gold is still easy to off load.

Great advice. Not from my opinion but from actual trying to make a asset liquid. Holding my gold for now.

Today was $100 per ounce as promised. My six daughters made a run and are stashing their remainder. The buyer said he would have it all sold by days end. Said they could not believe what people would pay. Nor can I! Hope it goes to $150. Will not have an ounce of regret! lol

My wife told me one day last week, that we should sell her grandma’s sterling flatware. I said I was just looking at that yesterday. One grandma had sterling, the other had silver plate. Took in the sterling to sell and got just over $5K. I had weighed it out and knew what I’d get. She couldn’t believe it.

That would not happen here...don't care what the price of silver is going for. Some things are worth more than money....thats just me

I get it, but as the eldest son of an eldest son, I have become the keeper of said family treasures. I respect it and have closets stuffed with the stuff, but there has to be a limit.

I get it. We’re getting older, we never used it, we can’t take it with us, and our kids didn’t want it.
