Ive made clousers from yote guard hair. The long variegated guard hairs from the top of the shoulder.


I caught white bass on them.

I had a guy from PA pay me good money for nutria pelts for tying flies. He paid me more than what fur buyers were paying and I asked him if he'd send me one of his flies. It was very plain and ugly at the same time. He swore by them for brookies where he fishes. He tried raccoon and groundhog, but said nothing came anywhere near close to those nutria flies.
