Death Panels could be the possible outcome of any government that prioritizes healthy productive working age adults, and looks to thin out those young or old on the fringe.

The first word in my post was Canada. If someone wants to kill themselves, that is their choice sadly. I can't believe it is openly government endorsed.

I do hate it when people give up on someone who is depressed. He also didn't have anything terminal. The government of Canada said,"You wanna kill yourself? OK we will assist."

That is what bothered me. It sets a precedent of usefulness. It starts a slippery slope.

And if you were my neighbor, I would help you anytime you needed help. I help several of my neighbors on the regular.

Bow hunter it appears depression was infact terminal in this case. Would it have been if it would have had to been done where the guy was not told it would be pain free. And encouraged is another question that could be debated.
