All my life I have been told I look older than I am. Mostly because the fact I am prematurely gray headed. My grandfather was solid gray at 18 years old. My father started getting gray hair when he was 16. I started getting gray at 10! I was in 5th grade with gray hairs appearing. Now it was fine and dandy when I was buying beer from stores at 16 years old but now at 35 years old their ain’t much pepper left up there, mostly salt! I was on the jobsite earlier this morning and had to help a dump truck driver get back on the highway because he was stuck in the mud. I hooked the dozer to his truck and pulled him back till he could turn to pull out then I unhooked the chain. He introduced himself and commented about my physical build. He said “Man I need to get in the gym you must work out a lot.” I replied I haven’t worked out steady since I was about 18. Just a life of hard labor work has made me stocky now at 35 years old. He replied “Man I am 60 I thought you was about my age with the gray hair you got!” Ive been kicked before but being told I look almost twice my age was a pretty hard blow haha!!!!!!

I’m starting to get a lot of white in my hair. I wish my hair was black.

My wife is 67 and I'm 68...at a restaurant while I was in the bathroom the waiter asked her if I was her father. Now that is gettin' kicked!

Ha!!! My wife doesn’t look any different than she did when we were teenagers. Me on the other hand well I look like a totally different person! Ha!!

At my 50th HS Reunion I was lamenting to an old biker buddy who also had gotten a lot of gray. He looked at me with his usual sly grin and said "It's just more chrome."

First grey at 17, solid silver now at 56. Kills me that I was born with bottle black hair. But that's mama's cherokee side showing.

I think you look great. Makes you look distinguished. To me it is more silver than gray. Silver shines - gray is dull.
