My cream peroxide was just delivered the other day, so I am about to try this. Just a couple questions before I begin. First when I dilute it do I cut it with water or liquid peroxide? Is it a 50/50 mixture? Then also how long do I leave it in the solution. I am doing muskrat skulls for starters if it makes a difference.

Maybe Jurassic Park will see this. His skulls and erou mounts are impressive.

If your using 40 volume peroxide, I paint it on and put in a zip lock bag. turn it once or twice to keep the peroxide in contact. With muskrats you could fill the bag 1/3 of the way and pack with skulls, 24-48 hours is usually plenty.

Muskrats and critters i trap i just submerge in liquid peroxide until they're white. Then neutralize and rinse.

I've never used the cream-type peroxide, so I can't help you with what to cut it with. I've only used the liquid peroxide and dumped about half a gallon of that into my water pot with great results. Not sure of the exact ratio, but I'd guess it's closer to 75% water to 25% peroxide.

You might try starting with less than a 50/50 mix and check your results. You could always add more peroxide until you find the ratio that works best for you.
